The CW has ordered the Gotham Knights TV shows to series after what appears to be a good pilot. The series features an odd group of superheroes established by the children of Batman’s most heinous foes.
While much of the plot of Gotham Knights remains a mystery, the show takes place after Bruce Wayne is slain and Batman is no longer alive. Following his father’s death, Batman’s newest adoptive son (Oscar Morgan) teams up with the sons and daughters of some of the Dark Knight’s rogue gallery members who are suspected of murdering the hero. The group will do everything in their power to clear their identities, but as Gotham descends into anarchy following the death of Batman, they will also rise to the challenge of keeping the city’s streets safe.

In addition to Morgan, Misha Collins of Supernatural will play Harvey Dent, commonly known as the villain Two-Face, in the Gotham Knights series. Fallon Smythe, Tyler DiChiara, Olivia Rose Keegan, Navia Robinson, Anna Lore, and Rahart Adams also star in the series.
Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux, and Natalie Abrams wrote and executive produced Gotham Knights. Ironically, the three worked as writers on Batwoman, which was cancelled after three seasons last month. Legends of Tomorrow, which ended after seven seasons, and Naomi, which was cancelled two days after its Season 1 finale, are two additional superhero shows recently cancelled by The CW. As Warner Bros. Discovery considers a total redesign of DC Entertainment after the two businesses joined, Gotham Knights is expected to reflect the future of DC on television.
Warner Bros. Television is the studio that is producing Gotham Knights. Berlanti Productions’ Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and David Madden are among the other executive producers.
